Canmore hot tub electrocution reported

A person from Saskatchewan is dead after what police say may have been an electrocution in a hot tub in Canmore Tuesday.
Emergency crews say they were called to a vacation property along Kananaskis Way around 9:30 p.m. for reports a man had been electrocuted.
According to Canmore Fire Chief Lance Bushie, when crews arrived, they had to force their way into a utility room and disconnect the power to the hot tub. Bushie notes the property they attended has a number of rental units with a common courtyard, where the hot tub is located.
A 25-year-old who was found in the outdoor common area was taken to the hospital, where they were declared dead. Bushie says crews tried to perform CPR on the person before they were transported.
Investigators are asking anyone who may have information or who may have seen anything to contact them.
