This is how Calgary will mark the day of Queen’s funeral

The late Queen Elizabeth II will be laid to rest on Monday, and Calgary is setting up a viewing for Canada’s National Commemorative Ceremony.
Calgarians can watch the ceremony at the Municipal Building’s atrium on Sept. 19 at 9 a.m., which is taking place at Ottawa’s Christ Church Cathedral.
The ceremony will see government officials, dignitaries, and representatives from organizations who had a connection to the Queen in attendance.

Seating and television screens will be set up for guests.
Viewers can also sign the city’s condolences book, which is set up on the west side of the atrium until 6 p.m.
Following the national ceremony, Alberta will host its own, and that viewing takes place at 10 a.m. at the Alberta Legislature Grounds in Edmonton and livestreamed here.
Olympic Plaza has been illuminated with a royal blue hue since Sept. 10, and a couple more landmarks will follow suit in commemorating the Queen until Sept. 19.
Reconciliation Bridge will be lit up on Sept. 15, and the Calgary Tower will also be lit up on Sept. 19.
These are all part of a national initiative of illuminating buildings across Canada, which reflect the blue jewels Her Majesty wore in her final official Canadian portrait.

Calgarians may have noticed the Telus Sky building lit up with the Union Jack flag as well.

The bell at Historic City Hall will ring 70 times beginning at noon on Monday to honour the number of years the Queen reigned. The city says any places of worship or buildings that have bells or carillons are welcome to join them in marking this occasion.
