One hurt after rollover crash on Blackfoot Trail

EMS says one man was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries after a serious rollover crash in southeast Calgary on Blackfoot Trail at 17A Street/19 Street.

It happened just before 11:30 a.m. Thursday.

The westbound lanes of Blackfoot were closed for just under an hour, and the crash caused major delays in the area.

The scene of the crash has since been cleared and roads have reopened.

9 Avenue SE and 17 Avenue west of Deerfoot were severely backed up at the time of the incident as drivers were diverted from Blackfoot Trail.
