Wallets, phones stolen in Okotoks; police warn residents to be on alert

Okotoks RCMP are asking residents to be careful while walking at night, as there have been multiple thefts reported over the past two days.
Police say recently there have been two thefts where two men were robbed of their personal items, including their cellphones and wallets.
Officers believe both robberies might be related as they happened a few blocks from each other near Milligan Drive.
No injuries were reported.
The suspects were all described as teenagers either 15 or 16 years old, roughly five-foot-four or five-foot-five.

Police say the suspects may be armed and ask people to not approach them, instead urging residents to call 9-1-1.
They also remind people to stay vigilant while walking outside and to walk with other people if possible.
