Calgary police seek dashcam footage after a man was sent to hospital with life-threatening injuries from a single-vehicle crash in Calgary’s northwest Thursday.
Police say at around 2:15 p.m., a man in his late 30s was driving a GMC Sierra westbound on Country Hills Blvd NW when officers say the vehicle crossed over into the eastbound lanes.
Police go on to say the vehicle drove off the road and travelled down an embankment before running through a fence into a concrete wall.
Calgary police said the man was suffering from “life-altering” injuries at the time. In a statement released Friday, they say he was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The cause is still under investigation.
The area on Country Hills Blvd at Rocky Spring Gate was closed for several hours before police reopened the area at around 10 p.m.
