Hatchet attack at Calgary CTrain station sends woman to hospital
A woman has suffered serious injuries after being attacked by another woman with a hatchet at a CTrain station in Northeast Calgary. The attacker and a man have been arrested.

A woman is badly hurt after she was attacked by another woman with a hatchet at the Marlborough CTrain station in Calgary’s northeast.
According to police, it happened around 6:45 p.m. Monday. The attacker, along with a man, have been arrested.
It’s unclear whether the attack was random or targeted, and police have not released details on how the man is connected to the incident.
Officers praised transit security for catching them and say the two suspects changed clothing a couple of times before being apprehended.
Charges are pending.
