Wall collapses in CrossIron Mills between Calgary and Airdrie
A temporary wall fell in CrossIron Mills mall on Saturday afternoon leaving a woman and child injured.
A temporary wall inside CrossIron Mills, northeast of Calgary, collapsed Saturday afternoon, leaving two people hurt.
Airdrie RCMP confirmed the incident to CityNews, saying one child and a woman sustained minor injuries.
Police say they were called to the mall just after 1:30 p.m. to assist fire crews.

They add initial reports suggested a light fixture fell from the ceiling and came down on at least two people.
It’s unclear what caused the wall to come down. The RCMP says it has notified OHS, with an investigation into what happened expected.
The mall remained open to customers despite the incident.
