Calgary police arrest 13-year-old after stabbing

A 13-year-old has been arrested after a stabbing at a high school in the southeast Tuesday.

Police were called to Jack James High School in Forest Lawn around 1 p.m.

The school was placed into lockdown, and one student was treated at the scene for minor injuries.

Police say the suspect fled, but they were able to arrest him shortly after.

Officers say the suspect is not a student at the school, and they have not said where they arrested him.

Jack James has lifted the lockdown as the threat is no longer there.
