Calgary’s Central Commons Park’s ice rink opens

The Central Commons Park’s ice rink is officially open.

Sunday afternoon saw a grand opening ceremony in Calgary which included community members and developers.

People had the opportunity to visit the three-acre park which is similar to the Olympic Plaza, which offers a skating rink, fire features, and many other facilities.

The event included musical performances and, of course, skating.

“Complimentary hot cider and the University District Night Market-Holiday Edition with the skating rink open to the public for the first time!” read the University District Calgary’s website.

Central Commons Park is located at 4019 University Ave NW.
