Calgary celebrates 27th annual Toy Angels campaign

Those hoping to give back this holiday season can donate to a local toy drive.

Calgary police are partnering with Toy Angels and the Salvation Army for the annual holiday Toy Angels campaign.

This is considered Calgary’s largest toy drive, which collects and distributes toys to families in need.

As part of this campaign, the KidsPlay Foundation in Calgary will be hosting the second annual “Fill the Sgt. Andrew Harnett Memorial Rink Toy Drive” on Sunday from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Falconridge and Castleridge Community Association.

A total of 1,300 toys were collected the previous year. This year’s goal is to collect 2,512 toys.
