Alberta’s holiday support system open

The government took to Twitter to remind people of the province’s support system during the holidays.
“If you need support over the holidays, these helplines are open 24/7: 211 Alberta, Family Violence Info Line: 310-1818, Mental Health Helpline: 1-877-303-2642, Addiction Helpline: 1-866-332-2322,” tweeted the government.
Meanwhile, the province also offers income support and help for those experiencing child abuse.

“While non-urgent government operations will be closed December 26, 2022 to January 2, 2023, services that affect the health, safety and security of Albertans will continue to be available over the holidays,” the government said on its website.
