Inglewood stabbing sends one to hospital

A man has been sent to hospital after a stabbing in the southeast area of Inglewood on Tuesday night, according to reports from Calgary police.
They say it happened around 5:30 p.m. on 11 Street SE and 8 Avenue.
Police say a woman flagged them down after she asked for help for her friend, who she says had been stabbed.

Officers say the victim is a 38-year-old man.
EMS arrived shortly after to take the man to Foothills hospital. He was in critical condition, but has since been updated to serious but stable condition.
In an update, officers told CityNews that they took in a number of occupants from a home near the location of the stabbing for questioning.
Police are continuing to investigate.
