Man wanted for sexual assault: Calgary police

Calgary police is seeking the public’s help in finding a man wanted for sexual assault.

It happened on Sept. 22, 2022, at a “social-sector agency” in downtown Calgary.

Officers say 40-year-old Papi Muyembi Chiyombo allegedly used force against an employee to “touch her in a sexual manner without consent.”

Police then laid charges on Jan. 13 through a warrant, and have made multiple attempts to find him, but have not been successful.

Muyembi Chiyombo is described as being 6’11” and 210 pounds, with short dark hair. Police say he is often seen wearing a light-blue denim jacket with an image of Donald Duck on the back.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call police at 403-266-1234 or leave a tip anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
