Alberta RCMP find abandoned pony in Penhold

Alberta RCMP found an abandoned pony Thursday north of Calgary in Penhold and needs help finding the owner.

On Jan. 26, Mounties received a call about a stray pony in the Penhold area, which is south of Red Deer.

Livestock investigators and Livestock Identification services have not provided any other details about the pony.

Police ask anyone with information as to who may own the horse is asked to contact RCMP Livestock Investigations at 403-701-1462.

People can also leave a tip anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
