One dead in Calgary Panorama Hills fire

Calgary police found a man dead amid a house fire after they received calls for a domestic dispute in the Panorama Hills area Friday morning.
Officers say they received calls about a “domestic disturbance” around 5:30 a.m. on Panatella Drive.
When they arrived, they saw the fire across the street and found a man dead inside the home. An autopsy was completed, and police say the death is non-criminal.
In addition, police say a woman with serious injuries was taken to hospital.
Investigators believe the fire and the disturbance were linked to each other.
It’s unclear what led to the fire at this time.
Kieth Stall with the Calgary Fire Department says crews were on the way after another fire was doused earlier.
