Calgary police say two people were rushed to hospital following multiple stabbings Wednesday morning.

Police tell CityNews a man and a woman suffered stab wounds, and a third person was arrested.

The victims were rushed to hospital in serious but non-life-threatening conditions.

Officers say the incident happened sometime before 6:30 a.m.

A trail of blood from the station that continues past the CityNews building was noticed at around 6 a.m. and continues toward Stephen Avenue.

Calgary’s 4 Street CTrain station was closed at around 7:30 a.m. and has since been reopened.

It’s unclear if the victims know each other, and there are no further details on the suspect arrested at this time.
