Calgary crash closes section of Glenmore Trail

A collision has a section of Glenmore Trail closed Monday afternoon.

The crash just east of Deerfoot Trail SE has the eastbound lanes of Glenmore shut down, with all drivers detoured onto Deerfoot Trail.

The investigation into the collision at around 12:30 p.m. is creating long delays.

As a result, a gridlock has traffic tied up from Macleod Trail through to the detour point at Deerfoot Trail.
