Body found in Okotoks, RCMP investigates

The Alberta RCMP is investigating the finding of human remains in Okotoks and is asking people for help.
Mounties say they were called for reports of a body found near Highway 522 and intersection 128 Street East near Okotoks on Thursday at around 5 p.m.
When they arrived at the scene, they found a deceased body and ruled it as a homicide.
They identified the body as 37-year-old Calgary resident Tara Miller, who is also known as Tara Mbugua.
The RCMP is asking anyone who might have witnessed anything suspicious near Highway 522 and 128 Street, between Wednesday 12:00 p.m. and Thursday 5:00 p.m. to come forward.
Mounties are also looking to speak to people that know or have seen the victim in the days leading up to her death.
Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call the RCMP at 403-933-4262, or leave a tip anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
