Calgary police are looking for two people who allegedly assaulted a senior at a northeast Calgary Transit station in late March.
Officers say at around 9:45 a.m. on March 30, a man and a woman at the Marlborough Station approached a 73-year-old man.
Police believe the pair attacked the man “unprovoked,” with the woman hitting the victim in the head with a glass bottle while the man struck him with an “unknown object.”
The senior was knocked unconscious and fell to the ground. Police say he was taken to hospital in stable condition, where he still remains.
Due to the attack, the victim has had multiple surgeries and has “experienced significant medical complications.”
Investigators say the attack was random.
Now, they seek the two suspects involved, along with a witness to the events.
The woman is described as 30 years old, around 5’6″ tall, 130 pounds, with long black hair wrapped in a bun.
