Driver in life-threatening condition after rollover on Calgary Macleod Trail

A person is fighting for their life after a two-vehicle crash in the city’s southwest, Calgary police say.

Officers were called for the incident at around 12:30 p.m. for the crash involving a Jeep and an SUV on Macleod Trail and 71 Avenue SW.

The Jeep rolled over due to the crash.

Police say the driver of the Jeep was taken to hospital, same with the driver of the SUV as a precaution with minor injuries.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
