EMS got a call at around 2:50 p.m. at Royal Avenue for reports a woman was bit by a dog.
They found a woman in her 50s suffering from multiple bite wounds and took her to Foothills Hospital in serious but non life-threatening condition.
Meanwhile, police described the dog as a medium size, black and white, with a red collar and “may be dragging a leash.”
It’s unclear what kind of injuries the other victim sustained.
The City of Calgary told CityNews the dog has been impounded at the Animal Services Centre while bylaw officers investigate.
