Alphonso Davies confirmed as voice in Spider-Man: Across the Spiderverse

From world football to Hollywood. Edmonton soccer star Alphonso Davies will be making his big screen debut this June in Spider-Man: Across the Spiderverse.

Taking to social media, Davies, the agency who represents him, and even Sony Pictures Germany made posts to announce his role in the movie.

Davies will voice the character Spider-Man ’67 in the German version of the Spider-Man sequel.

The number 67 is a nod to Davies’ first professional number worn when he was with the Vancouver Whitecaps.
