Langdon resident charged in death of his mother

Alberta RCMP has charged a Langdon resident with the second-degree murder of a woman after an alleged assault Wednesday.
Officers responded to a 911 call around noon on May 26 for an assault at a home in Langdon.
A woman, 56-year-old Audra Demolitor, was found unresponsive. She died in hospital from her injuries on June 7.
Mounties say an autopsy was performed at the Chief Medical Examiners’ office in Calgary on June 8.

Thirty-one-year-old Scott Demolitor, who CityNews has confirmed as the son of Audra, had a judicial interim release hearing and was taken into custody after.
He is expected to appear in Strathmore court on June 20.
Langdon is about 20 kilometres away from Calgary.
