Three arrested after pellet gun shooting: Calgary police

Calgary police have arrested three people who allegedly shot several people with a pellet gun Monday.

Officers say it happened at around noon in several south Calgary neighbourhoods.

The victims, who suffered minor injuries, reported being shot with “what appeared to be a pellet gun” by three to four people in a white Hyundai Sonata.

Afterwards, investigators say they recovered the vehicle in the Legacy area and made the arrests on the corner of Legacy Village Link and 210 Avenue SE.

The suspects have not been identified, and it’s unclear how many victims there are at this time.

Officers did not confirm if the weapon was a pellet gun.

Police ask anyone with information about this incident or if anyone has dashcam footage to call them at 403-266-1234 or leave a tip anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
