‘Armed and dangerous’ homicide suspect believed to be in Surrey: RCMP
Mounties say a suspect who is facing multiple charges, including first-degree murder, might be in Surrey.
According to the BC RCMP, investigators believe Bith Gattang Chuol fled from Alberta and is currently somewhere in B.C.
He is wanted in connection with the 2021 death of 29-year-old Vanessa Silva in Edmonton.

Mounties say Chuol is wanted on multiple outstanding warrants and is facing charges including kidnapping, break and enter, and extortion.
Investigators have reason to believe that Bith Chuol was in the Surrey area recently and may still be here,
S/Sgt Kris Clark said.
If you see him, please call 9-1-1 immediately.
Mounties say he should be considered armed and dangerous, and anyone with information is asked to call Strathcona County RCMP at 780-467-7741 or your local police department.
