Woman arrested, charged in string of gym thefts: Calgary police

A woman has been arrested and accused of stealing from fitness, aquatic, and recreation centres across Calgary, police said Wednesday.
Officers received reports in early June for multiple reports of wallets, IDs, cell phones, keys, or other personal property taken from lockers in change rooms.
They add that the victims sometimes left the facilities to find their vehicle stolen or false transactions made on their bank cards.

After reviewing CCTV footage and speaking with victims and staff, police arrested 30-year-old Calgary woman Julia Fraser on June 21.
She faces 15 charges related to theft, possession of stolen property, possession of a controlled substance, identity fraud, theft over $5,000, and mischief.
The suspect is expected to appear in court on July 10.
Officers say the investigation is ongoing and additional suspects may be involved.
