Calgary police investigate after woman’s body found in Bowness home

Calgary police are investigating after a body was found inside a residence in the northwest community of Bowness.
Authorities say that around 10:30 a.m. Sunday, they were “conducting inquiries” at a house in the area of 79 Street and 36 Avenue NW, relating to an ongoing investigation.
While searching the residence, they found the body of the woman.
Police explain the death remains undetermined, and that the circumstances surrounding the death are suspicious.
An autopsy is scheduled for Tuesday.
Investigators say they’ve spoken with several witnesses and are in the process of collecting CCTV footage and doing additional interviews,
