Alleged sexual assault suspect wanted by Airdrie RCMP

Mounties in Airdrie say they need help finding a man accused of sexually assaulting a male youth a week ago Tuesday.
The Airdrie RCMP says reports came in at around 2:30 p.m. on Aug. 29 for the incident at the intersection of Veterans Boulevard and 8 Street, in the tunnel under Veterans.
The victim tells police a middle-aged man wearing a robe and cloth headwear approached him on the walking path and “grabbed him in a sexual manner.”
Then, the victim yelled at the suspect, who proceeded to walked away.
Mounties describe the suspect as around 40 years old, 5’9″ tall, with dark hair, a moustache, and a little facial hair on his chin in a greyish colour.
Police ask anyone with information about this incident to call them at 403-945-7200 or leave a tip anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
