Calgarians parachute off downtown building: video

A video of two people floating down Calgary’s 9 Avenue with parachutes is sure to be a big hit on Reddit Thursday.

The pair, who were presumably base jumping, were caught on camera coming in for a landing at 9 Avenue and 5 Street, floating westward.

It appears they’re touching down in the Impark lot at that location, but it’s not entirely clear what building they jumped from, or how they got up there.

CityNews spoke to the Calgary Police Service about the incident.

It says it has seen the video and is investigating.
