Calgary police investigate northwest shooting

Calgary police are investigating another violent incident in the city over the weekend.

Police say one man was taken to hospital after a shooting in a northwest residential area Sunday morning.

Officers were called to an area north of Nose Hill Park, on Macewan Park Link NW, just before 4:30 a.m.

When they got there, police found a man suffering from a gunshot wound.

Investigators say he was taken to hospital in stable condition.

Police continue to look for a suspect.
