Woman missing from NW Hawkwood: Calgary police

The family and friends of a woman who has been missing from northwest Calgary since Friday are concerned for her wellbeing.

Police say 25-year-old Amy Elizabeth Fahlman was last seen leaving her home located in a cul-de-sac on Hawkland Place and Hawkland Circle.

They note it is uncommon for her to not be in regular contact with her family.

Officers say she could be in the Kananaskis area, and that she drives a silver 2010 Nissan Murano with the Alberta license plate CKK2830.

In an update Monday, police said new information indicates Fahlman’s car has significant hail damage.

They also now have reason to believe the woman had been traveling north of Cochrane, investigators say.

She is described as being 5’6″ tall, around 130 pounds, with a slim build, brown eyes, and brown hair.

More pictures were also released Monday.

They are now asking for dashcam footage from anyone travelling on Weedon Trail north of Cochrane from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 30.

Anyone with information about the whereabouts of Fahlman is asked to call police at 403-266-1234 or leave a tip anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
