Child in critical condition after being pulled from Airdrie pond

A child is in critical condition after reportedly falling into a pond in Airdrie Tuesday evening.

RCMP got the call just after 6 p.m. that the four-year-old was missing in the King’s Heights area.

They soon discovered that neighbours had pulled the youngster from the water and were administering medical care until paramedics arrived.

The child was rushed to hospital in Calgary and at last word was still listed in critical condition.
