Grande Prairie educational assistant charged with sexual assault, luring of a youth: RCMP

Mounties in Grande Prairie have charged an educational assistant with sexual assault involving a youth.

Officers received a report of an inappropriate relationship between the educational assistant and a youth on Sept. 28.

They say 23-year-old Brooke Richer of Grande Prairie now faces a number of charges including sexual assault, sexual exploitation, and luring a child.

Richer was released from custody and is expected to appear in court on Nov. 8.

Mounties did not reveal where the woman was working at the time of the alleged offences, nor the age of the youth.
