Calgary police lay charges in retail robbery, seek additional suspects

Calgary police have charged one man and one woman after they say a southeast Sephora store was robbed on several occasions, leading to the loss of thousands of dollars worth of merchandise.
Between Monday, Aug. 28 and Friday, Oct. 13, investigators say six suspects broke into the Sephora on 130 Avenue four different times, stealing almost $90,000 worth of items.
After reviewing CCTV footage with the help of loss prevention officers, investigators identified and arrested two people.
On Thursday, Oct. 26, police arrested and charged Matthew Trevor Plumridge, 35, with one count of theft under $5,000, two counts of break and enter, and one count of mischief to property.
Tina Marie Gagnon, 39, was also charged with one count of theft under $5,000 and one count of posession of a controlled subtance.
Both individuals are set to appear in court on Wednesday, Dec. 13.
Now, police say they are seeking the public’s help to find additional suspects involved in the incidents.
Investigators believe the suspects used a U-Haul truck to transport the mechandise and possibly parked the truck in the Prestwick area near the Sephora store.
