One rushed to hospital in SW Calgary shooting: EMS

A shooting in a southwest Calgary community has sent one person to hospital with serious injuries Saturday.

EMS tells CityNews they responded to reports of a shooting around 7:45 p.m. at Woodview Terrace.

The victim was taken to Foothills Hospital with serious injuries “consistent from the firearm.”

No other injuries have been reported at this time.

There are no details on who fired the weapon.

Calgary police are investigating.
