Calgary police are investigating several armed robberies at weed shops across the city this month.

Investigators say on Wednesday, Nov. 15 around midnight, officers were called to the 420 Cannabis store on 33 Avenue SW for reports of an armed robbery.

The suspects left the scene before police got there.

A week later, on Nov. 22, around midnight, police were called for an armed robbery at Dank Cannabis Weed Dispensary Parkdale, on 3 Avenue NW.

Once again, the suspects left the store before police arrived, and were believed to be driving a stolen vehicle.

Later that day, officers were called to another armed robbery at 420 Cannabis on 26 Avenue SW.

Police are working with staff at each business to get evidence to review.
