Person found shot in Forest Lawn, Calgary police investigating

There’s been another act of violence in Calgary, as police investigate a shooting that happened Monday morning.

CityNews has learned one person was found shot this morning near the intersection of 17 Avenue and 38 Street SE in Forest Lawn.

Police say they first received calls around 7 a.m.

EMS attended the scene and took one person to hospital in serious condition.

Very few details are known at this time, including whether or not any arrests have been made.

Officers are expected to stay in the area as the investigation continues.

This is a developing story.
