A person was struck by a CTrain at the northeast Calgary Rundle station on Wednesday morning, according to EMS.
They say paramedics responded to the CTrain platform at 36 Street and 24 Avenue for reports of someone being hit by a train at around 7 a.m.
The victim was rushed to Foothills Hospital in serious condition. However, they say the victim is in stable and non-life-threatening condition at this time.
No other details have been made available.
YYC Transportation on social media says the incident blocked one lane.
Calgary Transit was “single tracking” all CTrains on the inbound track due to Calgary police investigating the scene, but said after 11 a.m. that this is no longer the case.
Police say there are no more delays in the area.
