The family of a senior who went missing from his northeast Calgary home back in August is looking for answers to his disappearance.
Seventy-one-year-old Abdul Mufti went missing on Aug. 3 from his home in Falconridge under what police called “suspicious circumstances,” and hasn’t been seen since.
His daughter, Khadija Rani lives in Italy, and every day that passes by becomes tougher and tougher.
“Four months … no body … no suspects. What is this?” she said to CityNews.

Rani says police found a lot of his blood inside his home, and there were unusual transactions on his credit card and bank account for things like luxury cars.
Now several months later, she says investigators said this.
“They told me your father is not alive,” she explained.
Rani says where the body remains is unknown, and no charges have been laid either
Meanwhile, she says she’s frustrated that no one seems to be able to crack the case
“…Four months is not good enough for me”
In a statement, Calgary police say they continue to investigate all leads into Mufti’s disappearance
Meanwhile, investigators ask anyone with information about this incident to call them at 403-266-1234 or leave a tip anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
