Calgary police say three people were injured in a suspected home invasion Wednesday night in the northwest community of Capitol Hill.

Acting Staff Sgt. Derek Coffyne tells CityNews it happened last night just before 9 p.m.

“Unknown assailants forced entry into a residence located on Capitol Hill Crescent, once inside three individuals were assaulted and sustained various injuries, including a stab wound,” he explained.

All three people were taken to hospital in serious but stable condition.

There are currently no suspects in custody, Coffyne says.

He adds that while the investigation in its early stages, it appears the attack wasn’t random.

Anyone with information or dashcam footage is asked to contact Calgary police.
