Avril Lavigne adds Calgary stop to Greatest Hits Tour

Canadian pop-punk icon Avril Lavigne has added Calgary as a stop on her Greatest Hits Tour, after initially omitting the city in the tour announcement earlier this week.

The 39-year-old will play the Scotiabank Saddledome on Sept. 18, 2024, the singer announced Friday.

Before that, she will play Edmonton’s Rogers Place on Sept. 16 and Winnipeg on Sept. 14.

The North American tour, which will see the songstress perform her greatest hits from her more than two-decade-long career, will kick off in Vancouver on May 22.

Throughout the tour, Lavigne will be joined by All Time Low, Royal and The Serpent, Simple Plan, and Girlfriends.

Presale for the new dates, including Calgary, is Wednesday, Jan. 31 at 10locat time.

Tickets officially go on sale on Thursday Feb. 1 at 10 a.m. local time.
