Bank robbery in SW Crowchild being investigated: Calgary police

A bank robbery that happened in the city's southwest on Saturday is now being investigated by Calgary Police.

A bank robbery that happened in southwest Calgary on Saturday is being investigated by police.

Officers say the incident happened at around noon at the Scotiabank in Lake View Plaza located off Crowchild Trail.

They say a lone, masked man walked in and held the bank up before fleeing the area.

It’s not known if any cash was taken, but police did say no one was hurt in the incident.

Police ask anyone with information about this incident to call them at 403-266-1234 or leave a tip anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
