Calgary police investigate ‘targeted’ shooting outside SW brewery

By CityNews Staff

Calgary police say shots rang out Monday night around 10 p.m. after an apparent altercation between two cars.

Police say the initial investigation indicates an argument broke out before shots were fired from one car to another.

Later Tuesday, Calgary police said the shooting was targeted.

It happened outside the Two House Brewery in Sunalta — located at 1901 10 Avenue SW — with bullets also hitting that business, as well as another vehicle.

CPS says when officers arrived on scene Monday, they found a bullet hole in the window of the brewery and a man with gunshot wounds.

But, police weren’t allowed to say whether that person was involved in the incident.

However, they say the investigation is still ongoing.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Calgary police at 403-266-1234 or tip anonymously through CrimeStoppers.

Two House announced on Instagram last week it would be closed from Feb. 12 to 17 for renovations and would re-open to the public on Saturday Feb. 17.
