Nickelback to close out Calgary Stampede with Saddledome show

Alberta-born rock band Nickelback will close out the 2024 Calgary Stampede with a show at the Scotiabank Saddledome, the festival announced Monday.

The four-piece musical act, born in the east central Alberta town of Hanna, will play the Dome on Sunday, July 14.

Known for hits such as “How You Remind Me,” “Photograph,” “Far Away,” “Rockstar,” and more, the band often evokes a “love ’em or hate ’em” attitude.

The band recently wrapped it’s 52-date North American Get Rollin’ Tour and debuted the documentary Hate to Love: Nickelback at the 2023 Toronto International Film Festival.

Tickets go on sale to the general public on Friday, March 15 at 10 a.m.
