Katrina Leskanich looks back on time with The Waves and Eurovision success

Katrina And The Waves struck gold in 1983 with their massive hit Walking On Sunshine, a song that has woven itself into the fabric of society and still gets lots of airplay today.

Leskanich, who was born in Topeka, Kan. but moved to the UK with her family when she was 16, says she’s also immensely proud of winning the 1997 Eurovision Song Contest.

She recently caught up with CityNews’ Todd Kaufman.
