Human remains found near Clairmont, death suspicious: RCMP

The human remains of a Grande Prairie man have been found near the community of Clairmont Tuesday, and RCMP is calling the death suspicious.
Officers responded to a report of remains found northwest of Calgary on Range Road 55, just south of Township Road 730.
The remains have been identified as 34-year-old Echer Marcial from Grande Prairie.
The RCMP Major Crimes Unit considers the death suspicious, and an autopsy is scheduled for March 18 in Edmonton.
Meanwhile, police are asking those who have video of the area where the remains were found or video footage from March 13-14 to contact Grande Prairie RCMP at 780-830-5700, your local police, or anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 (TIPS).
