“Evidence has led investigators to one suspect who is believed to have been involved,” reads a police release. “After exhausting all investigative avenues to identify the suspect, we are now asking for help from the public.”

The suspect is described as a man in his 20s with a slim build and around 6’0 tall. He was last seen wearing blue shoes, camouflage jeans and a long, green winter coat.

The suspect is believed to have ties to Edmonton.

Investigators say he was driving a grey 2016 to 2018 Ford Focus with a hatchback at the time of the shooting. Photos of the suspect and suspect vehicle have been released.

“We are asking anyone who believes they have information that will help us identify this individual to come forward,” says Acting Staff Sgt. John Pearson. “One man lost his life, and the person responsible needs to be held accountable.”
