Man seriously injured in stabbing at Value Village in SW Calgary: police

A man is in hospital with serious injuries after a stabbing in southwest Calgary.

A man is in hospital with serious injuries after a stabbing in southwest Calgary.

Emergency crews were called to a Value Village store on Macleod Trail near Southland Drive around 11:40 a.m. Friday for reports of an assault.

A man was rushed to hospital with apparent stab wounds. Police initially said the injuries were critical, but EMS tells CityNews the victim is in stable condition.

Paramedics say “some type of altercation” led up to the injuries.

No arrests have been made and no suspect information has been made available.

The investigation is ongoing.
