Second-degree murder charges laid in death of Siksika man: RCMP

Murder charges have been laid against a man in the death of a 59-year-old Siksika Nation resident, and Gleichen RCMP arrested a second suspect.
Police say EMS called them on Wednesday about an unresponsive man in Gleichen just before 7:30 p.m.
They found him dead with injuries consistent with an assault.
Mounties have since identified the victim as Clayton Redgun, and deem his death a homicide.
Twenty-seven-year-old Siksika Nation resident Richie Lance Bearhat has been charged with second-degree murder and remains in custody. He is set to appear on trial on April 29.
In an update Sunday afternoon, police arrested a second suspect, 20-year-old David Bruce Drunkenchief, who faces the same charge.
