Alberta RCMP to give update on 1970s serial killer

Police in Alberta allege a now-deceased serial killer and sexual offender is responsible for the deaths of at least four young women in the 1970s.

RCMP say the suspect may be linked to even more unsolved homicides and are hoping to get more information that may establish that connection

The force’s historical homicide unit will share details on the cases Friday morning at a press conference in Edmonton.

Mounties say some details are sensitive and disturbing in nature.
